RAZZIA - Menschen zu Wasser CD
Die offizielle Wiederveröffentlichung des dritten Studio-Albums erscheint als CD Jewel Box im schicken Pappschuber mit unveröffentlichten Fotos, 2-seitigem Band-Statement, allen Texten und enthält als Bonus obendrein zwei unveröffentlichte Videos, ebenfalls aus dem Jahr 1989. Aufgrund eines Masterfehlers des damaligen Studios, waren RAZZIA schon immer sehr unzufrieden mit der gesamten Soundqualität, weshalb jetzt die kompletten Aufnahmen in Eigenregie neu remastert und auch die Geschwindigkeit auf das Optimum angehoben wurde. Auf "Menschen zu Wasser" gab sich die Band 1989 noch experimentierfreudiger als auf ihrem 3 Jahre zuvor erschienenen Album"Ausflug mit Franziska". Neben neuen Elementen wie elektronischen Beats findet auch der Synthesizer wieder gezielten Einsatz. Ergänzt durch den einmaligen Gesang des Ur-Sängers Rajas Thiele und die morbiden RAZZIA-typischen Texte entstand ein dunkles, vielschichtiges Werk mit bedrohlichen Parts und dichter Atmosphäre.

Punk band KAOS from Rijeka was founded in 1979 and active until 1984. With the already famous bands PARAF and TERMITI they were the main name of the city's punk-scene. In the beginning they played simple but powerful songs that quickly became local hits.
Time changed their musical style and the songs became more complex. But they were always energetic and with their defiant lyrics and interesting vocal performance which created the chaotic and very lively artistic expression. The band's sound was dynamic and deliberately unpolished and they had not the slightest desire to "compromise" in terms of their sound, something that could have made them more successful. In my mind, this makes the band even greater. When V/A "Rijecki Novi Val" would be released, everything was delayed due to KAOS refusal to sign any contract; they were the only band that would not be bound by a contract. Eventually the record was released anyway, even though KAOS had not signed the contract. Something that one can only admire.
The material on this LP was recorded between 1980-1983 and represents the band's entire work.
This LP would not be possible without the great cooperation with the singer Tea and the rest of the band. Thanks a lot!

Kuzle  (the Bitches) belongs to the core of second wave of Slovenian punk from the early 80's. I my opinion they were simply one of the best bands - they had everything a good punk band needs: brilliant courageous rebellious lyrics that melted in good played energetic music. On top of that they had very expressive and explosive visuality and stole the stage every time they played.  They really had all they needed to make it. Like many other quality bands from ex-Yu (Termiti,Problemi, Mrtvi Kanal…) what made them so good and interesting was what hindered them from getting what they deserved; a record deal. They were seen as too rebellious and inappropriate. But they still made enough of an impression to get their well-deserved cult status. The only vinyl tracks they left were the four songs on the punk compilation "Lepo je .." LP from 1982. Shortly thereafter, the band stopped playing. The 23 songs (10 live and 13 studios) that are on this LP are the band's own selections from their archives that I hope can give a good picture of how dangerous KUZLE was. (NE!Records)

As O! KULT's 30th anniversary is around the corner, this is a great opportunity to celebrate this extraordinary group by releasing this EP. 
O! Kult was active during the early 80's punk-fortress Ljubljana/Slovenia.
They played frequently in city and starred in the most famous Slovenian music festival "Novi Rock" 1982.
O! KULT are uncompromising in the mid-tempo 80's (anarcho) punk of the best kind.
Although the O! KULT was one of the most radical bands in ex-Yu and their songs were banned from playing on the radio to avoid that their music would affect and damage the fine and normative youth, label SKUC gave out their only cassette (first in 300 and then 200 copies).
Another great release from former Yugoslavia! Great mix of agressive post-punk and early German punk from Hannover!
